Debbie Vernon is a past graduate of BMLSS and a Mom to her son who is in Grade 9.  With a long career in the Social Services field Debbie looks for ways to make her community more inclusive for people with developmental disabilities.  She is past president of the Muskoka & Haliburton Association of Realtors, founding member of Family Alliance Ontario and the Muskoka Family Network as well as a full-time Realtor with Royal Lepage Lakes of Muskoka.  To contact Debbie she can be reached evenings at 645-6472 or email  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Don Evans is the father of two BMLSS high school boys, one in grade 11 and one in grade 9.  He is employed at the Ministry of the Environment as a Chemical Lab Technologist.  He has been the treasurer of his local union for 25 years.  He is a former Big Brother and Scout leader. Leslie Jennings  Leslie is the parent of two students at BMLSS, one son in Grade 12 and another son in Grade 10. She is a full-time mother, and was a parent volunteer for 12 years at the Elementary School level, and, for the past couple of years, has also been a volunteer at the High School level.  She has been involved with Parent Councils for the past eight years. Rhonda Good  is the mother of a student in Grade 9 at BMLSS and another child, who is in Grade 6. Rhonda is a current council member of the BMLSS and Muskoka Falls Parent Councils. She has served on the Muskoka Falls Parent Council for over 10 years, including 3 years as council chair. Rhonda is also the Past-President of Magic Time Preschool. For 20 years she has volunteered her time with Bird Studies of Canada. Previously, Rhonda was a management employee of Scotiabank and Ontario Hydro.
