Fleming College updates

We would like to take a few moments of your time to share some Fleming College updates.
Virtual Program Information Sessions:

  • Students will have the opportunity to connect LIVE with faculty, and our Recruitment and Admissions team members to learn more about fall 2021 program delivery.
  • These sessions will be recorded and available for viewing after the session is complete.
  • Encourage your students to register here.

UPDATE – Trades Programs Admission RequirementsStarting September 2021, the Trades Techniques programs will require Grade 11 (C) math. Trades Technician programs will require Grade 12 (C) math. We encourage students with Grade 12 (C) math to apply directly to the Technician level programs.  Employers are increasingly seeking graduates with a diploma program vs. a certificate and this will ensure that students secure a seat in a highly sought-after program.
Students entering the Techniques program will no longer be able to seamlessly enter semester 3 of the Technician program. They will be required to have a minimum grade of 55% in math to move to the Technician program and applications will be considered on an individual basis.

Spring Eastern Region Virtual College Panel:

  • The ever-popular Spring Eastern Region Virtual College Panel is well underway. By attending this panel, students will get information about college programs, the application process, important dates, and deadlines to help prepare them to apply to college.  We will be discussing workplace pathways, college degrees and diploma-to-degree opportunities, therefore we would like to encourage workplace, college and university-bound students to join us.
  • The Eastern Region Colleges include Algonquin, Durham, Fleming, Loyalist and St. Lawrence.
  • Registration is open for the following upcoming dates:

NEW – College offers being released in November!

If we can offer any additional support, please feel free to reach out to me directly.
Stay safe!
