Each year, school boards in Ontario prepare, adopt, and submit a school year calendar to the Ministry of Education that is drafted in accordance with the Education Act and Regulation 304 – School Year Calendar.
Public consultation is part of the process for gaining approval of the school year calendar. Therefore, parents/guardians, students, staff, and community members are invited to provide feedback regarding the proposed 2026-2027 professional activity days and Board holiday dates.
